Cépage : 100% Merlot, élevage 12 mois en fût de chêne

 

Dense colour. Fragrant bouquet of blackberries, cassis, red cherries, figs and plums. The ageing in oak barrels provides notes of prunes, undergrowth and soft spices. The palate is supple with distinguished tannins.


Ideal serving temperature: 16-18 degrees

Harvesting:

  • Manual harvesting in 15 kg crates, with sorting and selection of the grapes bunches
  • Immediate pressing after destemming
  • Fermentation in temperature-controlled vats
  • Aged for 12 months in 400L French oak barrels

Terroir: clay-limestone hillsides located in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

Climate: lies in between the two fundamental oceanic and Mediterranean influences
